Henry Moore, New Delhi, 1987 is a book written and illustrated by Henry Moore. It is also the name of an exhibition of Moore's work that took place at the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi from October 1–15, 1987: 
 
Moore was a British artist who worked in sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and textile design. His work is considered to have symbolized post-war modernism and to have led to a British sculptural renaissance. Moore was the first British artist to become a global star during his lifetime. 
 
 
Moore's artistic output included a wide range of techniques and media. He used line drawing, cross-hatching, gouache, chalk, and crayon to create impressions of movement and radiance. He also carved human forms from paper.
