Gorelal (nicknamed 'Lal Kavi'), was a soldier-poet of the Ritikaal period in Hindi , who is famous for his war poems, which he wrote in praise of his patron King Chhatrasal . Despite being a soldier in Chhatrasal's army for his livelihood, he was a great poet in mind, speech and writing.
